1.     Keep the atmosphere at home stress free. A planned approach to the exams will keep it so.
2.     Make sure children get a good night’s sleep and have a healthy breakfast.
3.     Ensure children have some free time during the day to rejuvenate themselves.
4.     Prepare a revision time table based on the subjects and portion given.

The programme began with a welcome dance by the students of the senior classes.  It was followed by a rendition of a song in which the importance of Hindi as a language was expressed.  The numbers 1-10 were creatively displayed by the junior students through a dance. There was a unique PowerPoint presentation highlighting the significance and relevance of the language.  The event was concluded with a hilarious skit that was presented by the students of Grades IX and X. The audience enjoyed the programme thoroughly.  Our Principal, Mr.C. Hindi Hasya Kavi Sammelan

Humour is a very essential part of our life – it can be in any language. This fact became evident when Orchids organized its first ever ‘Hindi hasya kavi sammelan’ on 7/9/14. Thirteen students from Classes VI – X who have opted for Hindi as their II language, were selected to present a variety of anecdotes  that kept the other students of Classes III – X in splits.   All the speakers showed a lot of confidence and enthusiasm and were eloquent in their expression. However, since it was an Inter-House competition,   Farhanalluh Farooqui and Shuchita Gupta of Class X won the first prize. The second prize was bagged by Kethan Jainof Class VII. Khadija Khan won the third prize.
